God Does Not Change

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me. Job 38:1-3

And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer Me.” Mark 11:29&30

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

God does not change. With the same spoken authority of the oldest book in the Bible, Christ speaks to the Pharisees concerning that authority. They should have recognized Him by the way He addressed their questioning, but they refused, and so Jesus does not answer them. He is God among us, and yet they just wouldn’t believe even as He speaks the same as when He spoke to Job.

May The Lord speak to our hearts tonight as He has always, but may we let our hearts be willing to hear Him.
