“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:7-9
“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.” 2 Thessalonians 3:13-15
“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
If the work we are doing for The Lord is exhausting us, then it is not of The Lord. If we are weary, and our labor has become a burden, we must return to the Cross. Our faith in the Cross is the only Way God has chosen to work in us and through us. If we remain hidden in Christ, our faith solid in the Cross, then the things done for The Lord will be of The Lord, and we will not tire of them.
Be not weary in well doing!!! Bring your labors and heavy burdens to Christ and have rest imparted once more.
